Nearly 30 Years of Expertise in Fashion and Design
With nearly 30 years of experience in the fashion industry, Gareth has established himself as a versatile designer with a rich background in both fashion and soft furnishings. He studied BA (Hons) Fashion Design at the University of Westminster in London, UK, and has worked for and collaborated with renowned designers including Dame Vivienne Westwood and Alexander McQueen.
Gareth played a key role in the humble beginnings of designer Ashley Williams' now globally successful brand. Gareth has designed and crafted garments for an array of celebrity and royal clients, including Her Majesty Queen Camilla, Rihanna, Harry Styles, and Angelina Jolie to name a few. Notably, he served as a consultant on the Virgin Atlantic Airways uniform project commissioned to Vivienne Westwood in 2011.

The Journey to Soft Furnishings
Gareth’s transition into soft furnishings began in the UK while assisting his brother’s upholstery business. Here, he discovered his skill and passion for creating custom cushions, sofa covers, and more, leading to partnerships with the National Trust and English Heritage. Working alongside high-profile interior designers, he quickly gained a reputation for excellence in upholstery, crafting bespoke drapery and furniture pieces that met the needs of celebrity clients and historical estates alike. His expertise in fabric selection and design continues to be highly sought after in the field of interior decor.
Canadian Endeavors
Since returning to Canada in 2019, Gareth has become a valued member of Kingston’s high-end furniture and interior design community. Specializing in custom-built furniture sales and offering consultations, he works with local designers to provide clients with tailored furniture and drapery solutions. Known for his discerning eye and deep understanding of fabric and materials, Gareth collaborates closely with clients and designers alike to bring their visions to life with custom-made drapery and furnishings that enhance and transform spaces.
